how we all have changed..

just THINKING about fyp report, eg: how to go about writing it, planning the structure, etc..is enough to bore me. and i've no idea why i suddenly thought about a picture, a particular picture which jinny, jenny, vee and i took with a couple of friends outside a salsa club in 2005! haha maybe it's cos i never got the original copy from jinny! lol...she told me long ago that she's lost it. oh well, being so bored, i went to dig her blog archives cos i rem seeing that tiny pic (it's really tiny) on her blog 4 years ago..ta-daa! interesting, isn't it?? we all looked so different. and the reason why we were so pink was...it was the theme we decided on for that 1st clubbing night when we were in UOB! but vee didn't follow it! haha..she insisted that her purple skirt was acceptable.......and then to our last party when we were in UOB..rem this pic?? at modesto's afterwhich we headed to the guys' fav devils' bar and then to chinablack! so the subsequent pics were of: that silly stripper in chinablack (which has disappeared haha..), vee and jinny after our sleepover at pam's, me and jinny looking zombed (plus i still had to work that very day)..how young and silly we were to tire ourselves out that way! lol..but we did have our fair share of fun at that time..cramming ourselves in the handicap toilet just to do our make up, running up and down town in heels to find a nice club, dancing (and laughing) the nights away in high heels, and of cos enjoying one another's company with very loud background music which definitely included then-famous hits like usher's Yeah, alicia keys' Karma, jamelia's Superstar, etc...!
how time flies! and yes, i realised that everyone has changed during the past few years. just a lil evidence....haha..
interesting how much all of us have changed...but i was most amazed by the following pics:

The PRECIOUS Little Black Book of Style.

when i entered the car, you said you had sth to give to me. and since you've been giving me my (loooooong overdue) london gifts one at a time, i thought it was THE ONE which i've been wanting to see the most..! haha but from your cute lil bag, you took out a gift wrapped in plastic foil......it. was. The Little BLACK BOOK of STYLE by Nina Garcia! it was last year right after my exams when i said i wanted to get it but becos it was sold out in most of the bookstores except borders (at which it was sold for 30 plus, 40), i kinda gave up getting the book. moreover, i just bought The ONE HUNDRED. you even offered to buy it from borders, i remember...but i told you not to cos i'd probably get it when i felt richer. haha...the holidays came and now school's started...so many events have taken place that my want for the book has been almost fully buried until you showed me the surprise gift! thank you so much for remembering and even more for bothering to order the book online. i really love the surprise!!! i'm going to keep it in mint condition!
you've made me understand what surprises really are. they do not have to occur all the time; they do not have to occur on special occasions. what make surprises so special are the feelings experienced by the recipient especially when sth unanticipated takes place. true enough, your surprises may not be many but whenever they happen, they are always unexpected which is good, cos they definitely have the element of surprise. and every surprise you give, it is special. really special. thank YOU.

Yes And Amen

God says yes and I know
That I'm blessed
Yes got a heart that's at rest
Yes and a future that's sealed
Yes if I'm healed then I'm healed
I'm not afraid of circumstances
'Cos I, I've already found the answers
In Christ all of God's promises
Are yes, yes and amen
Now's the time to let faith win
God has placed His promises
In the centre of His will
Seek His kingdom and His ways
All the power of heaven
Is yours to call today
All God's promises
Are yes and amen
Celebrate God's promises
Yes and amen

All the heavens

Holy holy are You Lord
The whole earth is filled with Your glory
Let the nations rise to give
Honour and praise to Your name
Let Your face shine on us
And the world will know You live
All the heavens shout Your praise
Beautiful is our God
The universe will sing
Hallelujah to You our King

hongkong: food and shopping paradise, INDEED!

back from my short hongkong trip! =) it was one which allowed my family, together with 2 uncles and their families, to spend time together while enjoying the local delicacies. well, of course it's HONGKONG! so other than savouring the super yummy dim sum, shopping was a MUST-DO over there plssss...from tsim sha tsui to central to mongkok to causeway bay and even to citygate, we walked in and out of h&m, coach, zara, club21, giordano concepts, agnes b, muji, uniqlo, and even the interesting little shops in langham place, etc, etc, etc...

everyday's itenarary was..dim sum brunch with family, followed by my lil sis and i gg separate ways from our parents to start our day-shopping, and then back to the hotel at 5-6pm to put down our bags of stuff, rest a little by watching some fashiontv and nat geo. at around 7, we'd meet our parents to have a good dinner and thereafter, night-shopping till the shops closed! amazingggg...but tiring! for the 4 nights, i actually slept before midnight...

i LOVE this coach store! the exterior design of it is absolutely stunning! haha..my sister admiring the christmas decor..seems like it, at least.one of my favourite purchases!!! how cute and pretty is this telephone!! ahem...it CAN BE USED. i use it to make my daily calls to clar that's why it's on my desk....hahaha!super satisfied with my purchases! i even found the ipanema design which isn't sold in spore!! was soooo happy to see them in hk..! yeah. those neon yellow sandals...hahaa
ok, doesn't seem like i bought alot alot cos i spent most of my money on ermm, those coach shoes(which i've always wanted) and a couple of stuff not to be mentioned :)

can't wait for my next shopping trip...! shall avoid shopping for the next few........................weeks? hahahaha days will sound toooo short, months will sound toooo long. so ya, i shall just stick with WEEKS. hahahaha! =)))))))))))))
